How do I earn make more money using Alternate URL Ads?

Whenever Google AdSense wants to show a non-paying PSA, Alternate URL Ads serves you a contextually relevant paying ad instead. When your Alternate URL Ads get clicked you'll earn money. How much money can I earn?

How much money am I losing?

Again it depends our your web-site but we have created a free "Estimate Lost Revenues" tool that can help you get a general idea. Our "Estimate Lost Revenues" tool can help you estimate both your Yearly and Daily lost PSA revenues.

What is your payout split?

We offer an amazingly generous (if we do say so ourselves) 60/40 advertising revenue split with 60% in your favor. This split is calculated on top of the published advertising inventory provider rates.

When do you payout?

We don't, instead our advertising inventory provider pays you directly. They payout on the 10th of each month through PayPal, corporate check or wire transfer.

What makes Alternate URL Ads unique?

How do I add the Alternate URL Ads supplied URL to my Google AdSense

After you create your Alternate URL Ad HTML page using the Get Started link you should then upload it to your server. After uploading, open your Google AdSense control panel.

Under "AdSense Setup for content," first find the "More options" area. Next look for "Alternate ads or colors" and select "Show ads from another URL."

After selecting "Show ads from another URL" a new text field will appear. Enter the URL for the HTML file you previously uploaded into this new text field.

After completing that last step you'll start soon be serving Alternate URL Ads and making more money! If you are still a bit confused we recommend reviewing our Integration ScreenCast or if you want to get directions straight from Google try the Google AdSense Help Center.

Is it possible to lose money using Alternate URL Ads?

No! Since we only replace ads that would normally be non-paying PSAs you can only make more money.

What do your Ads look like?

Please review our demo area for examples of all currently available ad units. You can rest assured we have a matching ad unit for every Google AdSense text ad unit. You may also want to check out live ads running on partner websites.

How many keywords and phrases can you possible have ads for?

Thanks to SearchFeed we have an ad inventory that spans 30 million bidded keywords and phrases.

Can I control Ad color?

Yes Alternate URL Ads colors can be controlled just like Google AdSense ads.

Do you offer any other ad formats?

You mean other then what's in our demo area? Nope not yet at least.

Can I use my Alternate URL Ads supplied URL on more then one web site?

Yes as long as your web site additional web sites comply with our terms and conditions and the terms and conditions set forth by our advertising inventory partner.

Where do your ads come from?

Alternate URL Ads serves SearchFeed advertisements. We also serve Amazon based PSAs.

What is a PSA and why is it bad?

A PSA or Public Service Announcement is a non-paying ad spot that is shown when no paying ad spots are available (or at least not available through that PPC provider). We don't like PSAs because they equal lost revenue opportunities in our opinion.

If PSAs are so bad then why do you show PSAs too?

We only show PSAs while we are indexing your web-page. If you see a PSA try hitting "shift+reload" to hard refesh your page. Normally it takes us just a few moments to index your page for for contextual relevance.

Why do you claim to be a "mash-up?"

The Alternate URL Ads system is a honest to goodness "mash-up." We combine a number of public APIs from a number of different providers to offer this free service. We are currently using:
